Lipkitbykylie instagram account announced the new colors Maryjo K, Posie K, and Koko K for their Valentine’s collection. Release date is before Vday no definite date yet .. they say “soon” 😩 I have my Instagram notifications turned on for their account, once they post I will buy.. then bye bye bye money..sorry wallet. 💸 Hopefully I can get my lips on MaryJo and I hope they restock Dolce K at the same time. For $23 the price is decent for a liquid lipstick + lip liner.
I appreciate and love how Colourpop takes the next step to swatch colors on different skin tones. Being NC14-20, colors tend to not look the same as pictured online. With that being said the colors that I have bought from Colourpop have been good ones for me, and don’t just judge by their swatches google search it and look for hashtags with the color. This way you can see how it can look in different lighting and different fair range of skin tones. 🙂

If you own some Stila All Day Liquid lipsticks you know how pricey they can be, $24 a pop. Stila during the holiday season of 2015 released this limited with 6 mini liquid lipsticks for only $38 (sold out in november/december and ebayers selling it for $60+), at the time I never tried their liquid lipsticks and thought this would be a good way to try a range of colors and their consistency. I fell in love with the color Fiery, a beautiful blue-tone red; and with Caramello and pretty nude color just right for my NC15-20 skin tone.
This set opened my mind and lips to colors I normally would not go out to buy. When I wear Fiery, it brightens up my skin, and makes my teeth look whiter, and to my surprise more looks from men and women would compliment me. Because I loved Fiery so much, I bought the regular size along with Caramello. (My worst fear is of Brands discontinuing products I am in love with) This set is currently back in stock on Sephora.com! I stumbled upon it while browsing their Stila liquid lipsticks, I really thought they would be out-of-stock forever since December, so if you have not gotten your lips on this do it now. Your pout will love you 😉
