Colourpop Kae Rooch Chi on my lips – Review

Colourpop Kae Rooch Chi on my lips – Review

Updated: 2/25/16

It’s been a few weeks since Colour Kaepop launched and I was able to get my hands quickly on these little babies. Below you can read a quick review for each color.

  1. Colourpop Rooch – Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick : Rooch is not a color I would usually go for, but it is definitely a nice brick almost deep rusty color that actually brightens up my skin. The formula is on the dryer side and it took me 3 dips to get my whole lip. It is a whole lotta mess when you remove it unfortunately.
  2. Colourpop Kae – Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick: Kae reminds me of Dose of colors Chocolate Wasted, on me it is a very true dark brown. Again this formula is drying where I had to dip into the bottle a few times to get my whole lip. It can dry and flake if I don’t use a lip primer or lip balm before.
  3. Colourpop Chi – Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick: Chi is a color I am always drawn to.This formula compared to Kae & Rooch is so much more creamier, and actually dries with a  slight satin finish. It is the most comfortable and my favorite of the 3, formula and colorwise.

I have been thoroughly impressed by Colourpop’s launches, collabs, product prices, and all the selection they offer. Just be aware that especially for the liquid lipsticks different colors have a different finish, look different on different color lips or texture of lips . I am pretty sure it takes different color ingredients to create that specific color so formulas’ outcome can vary. This is what I noticed among other brands of liquid lipsticks as well.
